DAVIDE GLASSOMIZER REVIEW
DAVIDE GLASSOMIZER
As the name would suggest, the Davide Glassomizer is glass tank clearomizer very similar to the Protank 2. It features what the company describes as a "tank locking system" that uses no glue or threads on the glass. It is a bottom coil device using what appears to be a Kanger-style coil. It is 510 threaded so it fits most mods and ego-style batteries. The tip is replaceable with standard 510 drip tips. Although the product description does not list a volume, it holds the typical 2.5 to 3.0 ml. The company says you can replace the glass tube with an available longer one to increase capacity, but I have not been able to find replacement tubes alone online. It comes in silver, black, and gold metal (although I have not seen the black) as well as variable color glass tubes (which I have also not seen available alone, and the color options on tubes seems inconsistent from website to website). The shop had a dual coil and mini option as well, but the coil on the dual coil model looked like it might be difficult to find. But enough about how it looks. How does it work?
It works like a dream! Imagine taking your Protank 2, sticking it in a box, and waking up the next morning to find all the problems you had with it were fixed. No flooding, no leaking, smooth airflow, easy draw, better locking tip, easier threading onto mods with no wiggle. You name it, the Davide Glassomizer does it, and does it better than the Protank. It completely disassembles, just like the Protank 2, but the glass is a smooth cylinder without narrowing on the ends, much like the Protank 2 Mini. It fills easily from the bottom, and screwed onto my VAMO V5 and my iTaste 134 with no wiggle. The draw is smooth and consistent, and vapor production is excellent. The tip locks in nicely and is comfortable to use. I was most impressed with the flavor. The first thing I tried in it was a peach green tea flavor I picked up at Roar as well, and I was more impressed with each puff. And as I mentioned before, no flooding. I have been wearing this tank out over the last several days and no matter what mod, wattage, or position, I cannot get this thing to flood.
In short, the Davide Glassomizer is a much better Protank 2, and an excellent tank overall. As I didn't try the dual coil model, I can't speak to how it compares to the Protank 3, but I really like my Protank 3, so if anyone tries it, please let me know and I will try to obtain one to review.
Overall I am more than pleased with the Davide Glassomizer, and I am giving it 5 out 5 Vapes for excellent vapor, flavor, and use.

UNITANK BY KANGER
Two posts in one day? Inconceivable you say? Not so my friends. It appears to be a Kanger review day, so I am posting my review of the Kanger Unitank. I have been sitting on this one for a while, but I will get into that later. Also, I am adding an addendum to this review at the end for more advanced vapers, so check it out.
UNITANK by KANGERTECH
It would seem that hot off the heels of the Protank 2 but before the release of the Protank 3, Kanger decided to take a page out of Apple's book and release the same thing with new useless features. OK, Ok, I will be fair and give it it's due before giving my impression.
The Kanger Unitank is a bottom fed single coil tank just like the Protank 2, with two very significant differences. Unlike most bottom coil tanks, the Unitank is filled from the top, which is feature number one. The Unitank boasts a unique design in that the tank itself is divided into two chambers. The divider is spring loaded, so when you remove the tip to fill it, the divider seals off the bottom chamber preventing spilling of your e-juice. Replacing the tip pushes down on the spring, and fresh juice flows into the bottom chamber to the awaiting coil below. Perfect for when you have to add juice while riding a mechanical bull or those pesky times when gravity reverses and all liquids float formlessly into the air. Seriously? I mean, this all seems well and good, but I have been filling top-fill tanks for quite some time and can honestly say I have never had trouble with liquid trying to escape unless I dropped it. And if you think this is great because you fill your tanks upside down... YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!
This tank truly looks over-engineered simply for the sake of being over-engineered. Created specifically for those folks who would buy Kanger underwear just because it said Kanger on the ass. But if you think you hate it now, wait until you vape it. I can't really speak to how well this thing vapes out of the box, BECAUSE IT HAS NEVER WORKED WITHOUT FLOODING! It flooded from the very first time I used it, and I mean full on sucking e-juice from a straw flooding. It was virtually unusable. Trust me, I enjoy Kanger products as much as the next guy, but I was highly disappointed here. Like I said, I sat on this for a while. My girlfriend purchased the Unitank from one of our local vape shops as we were both patiently awaiting arrival of the Protank 3, and for what it cost, I expected much more.
So enough bashing, on to my impression. POOR! Yes... I think that sums it up nicely. To be fair, it is possible that we got a lemon and I am just tasting sour grape e-juice, and the spring loaded design may have nothing to do with it. Yet one of the great features of the higher end Kanger tanks is the ability to disassemble and reassemble them. With the Unitank, you now have more parts and steps to fumble with. Keep it simple.
I give the Kanger Unitank 1 Vape out of 5 for all the reasons listed above. If you have trouble slinging e-juice all over your kitchen counter when refilling your tanks this might just be for you, but I doubt it. My advice, go directly to Protank 3, do not pass Unitank, do not spend 21 dollars.
More reviews in the works. KEEP VAPING.
*** FOR ADVANCED VAPERS ONLY***
So if you are reading this and have already felt the pain of purchasing a Unitank, here is a simple solution for the more advanced vaper. My girlfriend, determined to not be defeated, researched and found people with similar issues on the Unitank. One solution she discovered actually works, and works well. Take the coil out, or start with a fresh one, and remove the flavor wick. If you have rebuilt one of these before, you know how to do this. Replace this with a much thicker wick. She used silica wick material to do this. Put it back together and give it a shot. We were both impressed, getting the good old Kanger vapor we were used to, as well as a nice flavor burst. Certainly no one wants to have to do this every time, but it will make you feel better than the sound this thing makes when it hits the bottom of your trash can.
PROTANK 3 BY KANGER
PROTANK 3 by KANGERTECH
This is Kanger's first AFAIK dual coil tank and I must say, I have to give it mixed reviews. Firstly, lets talk about style. If you have or have seen a Protank 2, then you have seen a Protank 3. As far as I can see there is no real design difference in how it looks. It comes in a chrome finish with a clear tank and the classic Kanger drip tip. It has a 510 connection so it will fit MOST mods. The difference lies within. Instead of the usual style atomizer, the Protank 3 has a short nubby end with a gasket which pushes up against the inner stem that provides the vapor to the mouthpiece. This is a dual coil atty, but since it is bottom fed, the wicks are short and barely visible like the typical Kanger coil. Like other Protanks, it can be completely disassembled, and the replacement tubes for Protank 2 will fit the Protank 3, allowing you to replace broken tubes or swap the clear for another color. It is a bottom fill unit, but the space is narrow, so using needle-type fillers is helpful in avoiding getting juice in the stem.
Now lets discuss how it works. My girlfriend and I both got the Protank 3 for Christmas and we have had differing results. I must add a caveat to this review in that we have both only been using them about 24 hours, so there still may need to be more adjustments made. I am writing this vaping with the Protank 3 on my new Innokin iTaste 134 at 10 watts. The flavor is pretty good, which is a step up for Protank in that the biggest complaints I have seen for these products is muted flavor. It is not spectacular flavor, but better than my Protank 2 Mini, which I love. The draw is very easy, and vapor production seems to improve as your juice sits in the tank, but I have cranked this thing up to 10 watts to get a noticeable increase. It sits well on the 134, and there does not seem to be any threading issues. However, my girlfriend is using hers on a VAMO V5, and if you have researched any of this stuff you know that Protanks and VAMO's do not play nice. There is an obvious threading problem where the 510 connector just does not seem to thread smoothly, causing cross-threading and a loose wobbly feel. If you can get it on straight, the adjustable beauty ring can be twisted up to meet flush with bottom of the tank and provide some stability. Having used my Protank 2 Mini on my VAMO, I know tightening it down too far is BAD!! This will destroy the threads on your VAMO, but I will post about my solution to that problem later. The other issue she is having is flooding. Now I know there are many reason a coil can flood, but this seems to be a unique Protank/VAMO thing. Last night I put the Protank beauty ring/air flow adjuster on the VAMO after blowing out the coil. This seemed to fix the problem for a while. But I just got off the phone with her, and she says there is Noah-like flooding going on now, filling the battery connection to the point she was afraid it would get on her clothes. I am still working on it, so if I find the right fix, I will post it here.
Ok, onto my impression. Overall I like the Protank 3. It looks nice on my mods and just has an overall comfortable feel. The draw is easy, not too airy and not too tight, like other Kanger products. Flavor is much better than other Protank models, but no true comparison to any of the iClear tanks. Vapor production is very good as usual for Kanger stuff, but you definitely need to allow some time to get a brand new coil heated up and wicking well before you will notice that. This flooding issue my girlfriend is having bugs me, though. A lot of people own VAMO's, as it one of the most affordable and easy-to-use APV's out there. So I would recommend that if you do not have this, and the VAMO is your ADV device, consider getting something else. But if you are a Protank purist, and I know you guys are out there, you will figure it out and love this tank. The Protank 3 surpasses its brethren in all aspects. I am going to give it 3 1/2 Vapes out of 5, simply due to the flooding. I could possibly rate it higher if I can find a reasonable fix that is not difficult for the average vaper to do.
Hope this helps you spend that check you got in the mail from great aunt Sally. Check back often this week for more reviews, and as always...KEEP VAPING.

V-Core 2.0 Tank Review
Once you are done threading these suckers, your coil will look like this. However, you must do this with the coil already screwed down into place, otherwise when you screw it in, it will pull your wicks back through the holes (I know this because I did it). There is not a lot of room to work here, but it was not as bad as I thought to get to this point. Now to get those plastic pieces off.
This is what my first two attempts to get the plastic off looked like. I completely obliterated two brand new coils doing this. These bastards are really on there, and if you pull too hard, your fragile wicks turn to frayed useless slop. But as they say, the third time was the charm, and I finally got it back in working order.
Overall, I really like this tank. It vapes like crazy and the flavor is really unmatched by most clearomizers. But as cool as this tank sounds, most people are going to be ready to chuck it after the first attempt at coil replacement. It looks great and is definitely something you will not see the average vaper toting around. Yet if simplicity is your thing, you will hate this tank. The refilling process is fairly simple, but messy, as you are going to be holding the top with 4 wet wicks hanging down. It does have a tendency to leak slightly, especially from the middle connector, and there are no seals at these spots. Keeping the tank upright seems to help this issue.
For the V-Core 2.0 I must give it 3 out of 5 vapes. Scores well for flavor and vapor, but the complicated coil replacement really brings down it's performance. It is available online from about $8.99 to 15 bucks depending on the site, so you won't break the bank if you want to give it a shot. It is available several colors including the green I have, blue, pink, smoke, yellow, purple, and clear. I would say this is a cool addition to any tank collection.
Keep checking in for more updates. While I am writing this I am vaping Kaluha flavor juice from Saffire Vapor in my girlfriend's Kanger Unitank, which I plan on reviewing in the next day or two. So you Kanger fans may be interested in how yet another very unique tank works for me.
I'm off for now and as always...Keep vaping.

LATE NIGHT VAPING / VIGILANTE E-JUICE REVIEW
PUBLIC ENEMY NO. 1
by Vigilante E-Juice Co.
I finally got over to Nashville Vapor on Saturday and walked right up to the tasting bar and asked to try Public Enemy No. 1. I quickly scanned the menu for the flavor description and man, was I surprised. I supposed you could flavor e-juice any way you want and give it some crazy name like "Wicked Hot Dog Water" or "Kidney Punch" and people would want to try it. But going in I tried to make some association with the name and what this may have in it. With a name like Public Enemy No. 1 I was almost certain it would be a tobacco blend. As Vigilante seems to like sweet blends, I was thinking maybe a vanilla or perhaps caramel with a smoky bourbon or whiskey finish. WRONG!
The official description is spiced orange and vanilla with rum. Ok, so maybe I wasn't that far off, but definitely no tobacco. Locked and loaded I took my first draw. From beginning to end you definitely taste the orange, no doubt. But the spice part of it keeps it from feeling fruity. The vanilla is subtle as is the rum, but there is smooth flavor there that lets you know it's there. I liked it enough there that I figured I would like it more in tank of my own set at my own preference, so pleased with my purchase of 30 ml bottle (it only comes in 30 ml BTW) I walked to my car and filled my Iclear 30s. I was thinking that the orange would get old fast, but it didn't. Was able to hit it pretty regularly without that heavy tongue feeling you get from drinking too much Mountain Dew. It vapes really well, as do all of their juices, and I was blowing clouds within a few minutes of it fully wicking up.
I would have to say this reminds me of the holidays, even like a warm Christmas tea (they could have called this stuff "Aunt Tilly's Holiday Toddy", but they didn't ask me). Really nice if you like orange, which I do, and if you enjoy a little spice with a touch of sweetness, you will probably enjoy this. As I have said, Vigilante is my favorite e-juice and they didn't disappoint me this time with Public Enemy No. 1. I will give this 4 1/2 out of 5 Vapes and recommend it highly. Not an all day vape, but one you will keep coming back to.
More to come this week. Going to be talking about tanks, as well as offering up some reviews of some other great new juices. My girlfriend asked me to write about the events leading up to our venture into vaping as it's a pretty interesting story, so I will be working on that for the end of the week. Until then...keep vaping.

SATURDAY SUNRISE VAPING
Well, it's about 7:30 a.m. here and it's FREAKIN' COLD! Been up since about 5 with my littlest one who apparently does not know what Saturday morning is for. So I'm sitting in the living room watching the news about icy roads, drinking coffee, and vaping my Sweet Tobacco flavor from Saffire Vapor on my ProTank II Mini. I have been watching video reviews of new products for about the last 2 months and I would be remiss by not sharing the love and writing about indoorsmokers.com. These video reviews are fantastic for everyone because they are informative, funny, and not full of a bunch of technical talk like some other reviews. Straight forward info from a vaper to vapers. Seriously, it's like watching a buddy tell you all about his new mod, kick-ass tank, or awesome new juice. I am a loyal subscriber to this YouTube channel and will not consider buying any new tank or APV without checking out what he's got to say about it. So far, the reviews have not steered me wrong. Been watching his Funny Friday movie this morning and had to share it. So if you been vaping for years or just getting into the groove like me, slide on over to indoorsmokers.com for the best new info.

FAVORITE VAPOR SHOPS
NASHVILLE VAPOR
This place is a vaper's wet dream when it comes to e-juice. It's not necessarily the selection, which is great, it's the quality you find there. Premium juices along with their own flavors, you absolutely will not be disappointed. And this is the only place you will find Vigilante e-liquid, which is OUTSTANDING. Flavor blends unlike any other and fantastic vape. I will be posting more specifically about Vigilante, so watch for that.
VOLVAPOR
Down on 4th Ave in Nashville, you might not just wander into this place, but making a special trip is well worth your time. This has become my go to shop for gear. Tanks, batteries, mods, tips...you name it, they got it. I bought my Iclear 30s there before any store in town even had them. The guys there are really knowledgeable about what they sell and take time to make sure you get the right products you need. They just opened a Mt. Juliet store as well, so check these guys out.
VAPOR KINGS OF HENDERSONVILLE
What can I say, this is where it all started for me. John sold me my first ego kit and within 24 hours I was hooked. This is a great little shop for grabbing coils, batteries, chargers, and the like. Their inventory is growing by the week, and the last time I was in, John showed me the new display of mods. I'm not a huge fan of Vapor Kings brand e-juice, but they have the highly sought Uncle Junk's Genius Juice. If you like tobacco flavors, you have got to try the Jon Wayne. I try to never run out of the stuff.
VULCAN VAPE
When it comes to unique e-liquid, this is the place. Brands like Halo, Five Pawns, Vaporous, and Cyclops make this shop my pick for finding that new flavor that no one else has. If you have seen Halo products online, you have got to get here and try them. Also, ask about Vaporous' flavor called Jabba's Hookah. This is the most unusual juice I have tried to date. The guys here are excellent at providing flavor recommendations based on what YOU like. Right downtown in Nashville by Vanderbilt.
SAFFIRE VAPOR
Saffire Vapor is my one-stop-shop for vaping. These guys have the best variety of tanks, mods, accessories, and juice. Major props to Eric and David at the Hendersonville store for the HUGE amount of help they have given my girlfriend on her coil-building technique. I mean, when you are greeted with "welcome home" when you walk in, it may be time to slow down (NEVER!!). The customer service is great and they stand behind what they sell. Just got a Sentinel M-16 that had some issues, and they replaced it without hesitation. Just to be fair, I must say all of these places would most likely do the exact same thing, I just haven't had the need to do so. We totally fell in love with Saffire's Kaluha flavor, now on our 4th bottle, as well as the Espresso & Vanilla and Vanilla Heaven. Great store!
Hope this helps. Keep vaping.
